What personal data we collect and why we collect it

As a non profit organization that promotes our member businesses, the Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce uses your company name, contact name, address, phone number and email address as a way for your prospects and the Chamber to contact you. We annually disperse a member survey that allows you to chose what information you want to be accessed by the public on our Website and in our Annual Directory. Our e-newsletters are sent to our members and various businesses in the region and those who receive them can easily unsubscribe.


We utilize for all credit card transactions, therefore there are no credit card records held on site.  Payments made through the website do not show entire credit card numbers and are not shared with any other organization.  Administrator is only able to see that information (last 4 digits of credit card only).


If you download images from the website, you should avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
