Using Humor and the most recent gender medicine research, Jill Beresford’s session demonstrates how male/female biological differences manifest themselves in the workforce and how used productively, can generate the up to 65% profitability that every company would love to have.

Do you want to spend less time doing the things you don’t like, and more time doing the things you enjoy?  Do you want your home to feel clean and tidy without a lot of work?  Most people recognize that getting themselves and their space organized will help them achieve these goals.  But many feel overwhelmed by the task and don’t know where to start.  In this session, you will learn from a Professional Organizer and Productivity Consultant the step by step process which will guide you through getting yourself organized and reclaiming your life.

Communication is at the heart of business.  Yet for some professional and entrepreneurial women things like speaking to groups, “working a room”, or selling services or ideas feels uneasy and unnatural.  As a result, they may miss out on opportunities, lose access to clients and decision-makers or experience (unnecessary) stress and frustration.  During this session, Stacey Shipman shares insights and strategies to project confidence, engage listeners, and deliver a memorable message, whether speaking to 1 person or 100.  Walk away inspired and equipped with tools to boost your professional visibility, credibility, and influence.

1:00 – 1:55 pm   Mary Musat – Crandall   “Communicating Through the Hand Written Word

Having a passion for communicating through the hand written word and all things paper, Mary developed a stationery business called “Bien Ecrit” (French for “Well Written”)

Using quality papers and unique antique designs, she continues to reinforce the idea of well written communication through the hand written word.  Placing a lasting value one’s written words can be seen in:

  • Personal Communication – developing, sustaining, maintaining relationships over extended periods of time
  • Business Communication – a unique way of distinguishing oneself and strengthening relationships
  • Preserving History – The written word to be memorialized over generations.

This interactive session will look at the role of the hand written word in this digital world, and perhaps renew the enjoyment for actually taking the time to write what’s on one’s mind!


2:00 – 2:55 pm  Meg Garfield “Awareness Through Transformational Eating”


Personal fulfillment, joy, peace, strength and love should be a part of “Your Story”.  Diets do not work as deprivation, starvation and the word “NO” are simply not what your mind/body wants to hear.  “Awareness and Transformational Eating (ATE) provides you tools to create a life of awareness.  together we nourish the body…the heart with joy…the spirit with equanimity and self awareness!  We will close with a three minute meditation of Light!
