Legislative Leadership Panel

Our Legislative Leadership Panel is designed to work with local and state legislators regarding issues of concern to the business community and local and regional economic development.  This year, the Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce joins the The Southeastern Massachusetts Alliance of Chambers [SEMAC], comprised of the following chambers of commerce:  Cape Cod Canal Region, Cranberry Country, Sandwich, One SouthCoast, Taunton Area, Tri-Town and United Regional. SEMAC represents the business interests of the communities each chamber serves and addresses policy issues of importance to the region as a whole, together becoming one voice in common issues such as $15.00 minimum wage increase, Family and Medical Leave, Millionaire’s Tax, and other statewide ballot initiatives.

Our Legislative Leadership Panel holds legislative round tables throughout the year as well as a Legislative Meeting in the fall to offer the opportunity for our members to speak directly with local and state legislators.
