I am better known as your personal shopper and representative if you are in the market for a motor vehicle. New, used, any make or model. I am not affiliated with any auto dealership, I only represent you!  I have over forty years experience in the retail automobile business. I have held literally every position including over twenty years as Dealership General Manager. During my career I’ve been involved with thousands of vehicle transactions and will use that experience to save you thousands of dollars while insuring a stress free and enjoyably buying event. In addition, I’m the president of the Oak Point Classic Car Club in Middleboro. I’ve assisted many, many fellow residents of Oak Point as well as people in the surrounding communities obtain remarkable savings while having a stress free car buying experience…I look forward to provide the the same service for you!

Oak Point Resident Spotlight:   I would like to share a fantastic resident with you in this monthʼs resident ‘spotlightʼ, Bob Dovner. Bob grew up on a cattle farm where he performed numerous chores at a young age. His early interest in performance cars came from his older brother Alvin’s hobby and his hot rod club. After college and still in his twenties, Bob became owner of Lorenzo’s Italian Restaurant at the Taunton Mall. Years later, when lease renewals of the restaurant reached an impasse, he pursued his lifelong passion and obtained employment in the automotive industry. “It was refreshing not being responsible for all the financial aspects of business ownership.” That didn’t last long, as Bob soon became General Manager of several car dealerships for an absentee owner. After 35 successful years as a manager in the automotive business Bob is now self-employed again. As an Automotive Consumer Advocate Bob takes great pleasure in assisting individuals with all their vehicle needs. His specialty is saving people a tremendous amount of money, while eliminating the hassle and stress. In August of 2015, Bob was asked to take over running the Oak Point Classic Car Club. “I hope it has been as enjoyable experience for the club members as it has been for me.” Bob has breathed new life into the Classic Car Club by building associations with experts in this industry. Bob and his wife Missy lived in the Carriage House Drive section of Lakeville for 27 years before moving to Middleboro. Bob, Missy, and their Late Golden Retriever Hunter all have loved living among the wonderful people here at Oak Point. And are equally happy to have them living among us at Oak Point. Thank you Bob for all you do!
