Two Business After Hours Scheduled
Stonewood Health & Fitness Center will host Business After Hours on Tuesday, July 15, from 5- 7 p.m. at 160 North Main Street (Rt. 58) in Carver. Stonewood is a brand new facility, boasting 30,000 square feet of space. It includes a lobby with spacious seating, a gas fireplace, and flat-panel TV, in addition to retail space, a Day Spa, Hyrdo-therapy, and the latest in workout equipment. Conference facilities are also available. This networking event is free to members as a benefit of membership, but reservations are required and can be made by calling the Chamber at 508-947-1499 by Friday, July 11.
Bill and Cindy Seckinger, owners of Muckey’s Liquors in Lakeville, will host Business After Hours at their home in Halifax on Tuesday, August 26, from 5-7 p.m. We will gather poolside, so please dress casually, and bring your bathing suit if you would like to swim. Reservations can be made by calling the Chamber by Friday, August 22.

Breakfast On The Road to feature Hiring Resources for Regional Employers
Hiring Resources for Regional Employers will feature a panel discussion at Breakfast On The Road on Thursday, August 21. This event is co-sponsored by the Division of External Affairs at Bridgewater State College. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by a full breakfast. The panel discussion will run from 8:15 – 9:15 a.m.
Panelists will include representatives from the Offices of Career Services at Bridgewater State College, Massasoit Community College and the Wareham Career Center. Come and discover the resources available to those companies who hire employees at multiple locations throughout the region. Prepaid reservations at $30 for chamber members and $40 for non-members are due to the Chamber by Friday, August 15.
